From the IDW Personal Missions Committee
As many as 89% of Americans see the Bible as something more than just another book of teachings written by men containing stories and advice. In fact, 56% believe that the Bible has no errors--a significantly higher number than attend church regularly. This confirms that many non-Christians already have some degree of respect for the Bible even though they do not trust Jesus. This also serves as a reminder that the most important thing a Christian can do to prepare for spiritual conversations with their friends and neighbors is to study the Bible himself. Not only does studying the scriptures give the information necessary for spiritual conversations, but through them, the Holy Spirit motivates, empowers, and equips us to talk about Jesus with people who do not yet trust in Him.

RESOURCES AND OPPORTUNITIES
